I've got Turbo XS with high flow cat and started to notice some slight rattling a week or so ago. Now there's rattling that can be heard at idle when I'm standing next to the car. Sounds like its coming from the high flow cat area. No noticeable leaks...no black stuff around the flanges. Also, my GF and I got a whif of the catless smell which I haven't smelled in a while. I'm going to do a more thorough check today. I've read about TXS high flow cats failing and I'm suspecting this may be the case. Anyone else experience this.? And if the high flow cat did in fact fail will TURBO XS replace it? yes, i should just call TXS, though if anyone already knows the answer I'd appreciate it.

NM. just talked to the owner (mark) at Turbo XS. For those of you running TXS w/ high flow cat here's some info that might be of help: If the brick in the cat is broken in chunks they can warranty it, but if the brick is loose which is most likely the case I'm SOL. I guess I may be going back to catless.

This happened to me with the APS high flow cat - the brick just breaks loose.

Ive been getting whiffs of exhaust from my TXS also, Im sure the high flow cat is burnt up. Its been on since DEC 04.

Oh well, at least the appearance of a cat is there, I dont think I'll bother with replacing it with a new cat or race pipe.
