damn bro sorry to hear seriously talk to an attorney about what happen with you and that judge how she is being really bias
i got a speeding ticket when i was 17 1/2 going 98mph on a 55mph zone and i went to court and the judge was hella nice drop my wreckless driving into regular moving violation and allow me to take traffic school and drop my price to 150 bail. because it was my first ticket and it was 2am trying to get back to school which was another hour away.

She then proceeds to tell me that my bill is 436 dollars now instead of the original $213.50. I have no clue why it went up so i ask... she says, "Well you're irresponsible and I raised your bail to 436 dollars now". I only brought in $280, I had to make a extension on the date. She then says, "You know what? I'll also suspend your license for 30 days, and let you see how you should value your license as you are driving irresponsibly and need to grow up...."
I'm not passing judgement, because I have more experience in traffic court than anyone here. I'm speaking from experience.
Now I am thinking if I should go get a second hearing from another judge, if thats even possible, or am i stuck with this crap? Now I can't even go get a job at a dealership because the dealership wanted a clean record. ALL BECAUSE OF A STUPID B**** that ruined my day....thanks for reading.
OMFG!!
You are going to blame the JUDGE because... let's see... oh, you failed to mention that she was sitting in your car with you with a gun to your head telling you that she would kill you unless you broke the speed limit, right??
Why is it that YOU FAIL to take responsibility for your own action, and you have to blame someone else for your failings?
You need to figure out that YOU are to blame for missing out on the dealership opportunity. BTW, you could simply suck it up and apply for the dealership position anyway, and during the interview talk it over with the hiring manager. You'd be surprised to know that some of them will give a little leeway sometimes.

roo wtf? i mean i said i admit guilt to this ****ing ticket already. i said i wanted to take traffic school and pay the ****ing fees did i say i wanted to get away with everything? because i already know that will never happen. what gives her the ****ing right to suspend mylisence for a speeding ticket and let all others slide? why? give me a reasonable explantion.

so no one besides kyle, pleiad7, and I think that maybe by "learn to drive" she meant learn to drive and not speed? If I was a judge and had a speeder looking to do traffic school so he could skirt the consequences of what he did, I'd have handed him the same punishment. Just like they can adjust the fine in your favor, they can also adjust it in the courts favor.
I'm pretty sure the initial fee is a standard charge, then when you go to court the judge can rule if it should be more or less.
Lesson learned. When are you going to go 10-15 over again?

Maybe it's because I don't have any experience with moving violations, but why was the OP rejected from traffic school in the first place? Was it because he was under 18 when the ticket was issued? Aren't we allowed to take traffic school every 18 months? Since he got rejected twice(once in the courtesy notice and the other by the judge) there's some reason behind it, right? Although the punishment sucks, depending on this reason, it may have made you look ignorant when you questioned the judge's decision.
