Where do you guys that have AC Problems go to get your AC fixed? My AC doesn't blow cold air so pretty certain something is probably wrong with it.

I'm probably not going to fix my a/c professionally. It might cost upwards of $1-2k and the value of the car is only $7-8k anyways. It doesn't seem right to invest that much back into it.

I tried fixing the a/c myself with a little research. I "fixed" the problem, but I created another problem in doing so. I need to get back in there and replace some o-rings.

Yeah, mine doesn't blow super cold, I think that's why my drefroster doesn't work well. Maybe just needs a recharge?

Anyone with paint issue on your bugeye? Paint on my door handle is coming off a bit. It's plastic part. so I don't care much.

Only put down about 90K miles on my bugeye. Clutch and flywheel replaced about 10K miles ago. I can't believe some of you are still runing stock clutch and flywheel. Must have expert on left foot balance......

If your rex runs good, keep it. Good maintenance like you already have done should go a long way. Besides if it goes boom, we have good shops around here in bay obviously.

I bought it used but I changed the clutch and flywheel and little things here and there. Also brought it in for the Fuel rail leaking thing. But lately I've been hearing a whining sound when I drive seems like it's coming from the center diff or something. Maybe.

I replaced My stock clutch at 107k, I fixed it before it crapped out, but it was DOONE, super messed up, I wish paul or myself would have taken a picture of it...he said it was one of the worst he's ever seen, didn't know how I was still driving it haha, I'm kind of a lazy driver/shifter sometimes, def could learn how to drive it better
