Lucky... my list (besides the aftermarket stuff)

Clutch
Flywheel
clutch line
tranny syncros
diff bushings
steering rack bushings
water pump
all the pulleys
timing belt twice
ps pump

My AC pump is toast right now so I don't even have the belt in. Think my motor might be letting go.

I'm pretty happy that it's gone 176k with nothing but general maintenance and upkeep. Been ridding hard but always cared for. Still kind of hoping to hit 200k. Nice marker right there. Not to many of us out there.

Thanks for your help everyone, I for sure want to keep my car but not having all the funds is hurting me...my mom offered to loan me $ for a replacement car so I don't have to go through a bank to get a loan and possibly f up my credit...

now trying to convince her to loan less $ to just fix my ish...she's "certain" that somethin is gonna break right after I fix the motor but I can't think of many things that would be coming up..all little things that would be a huge repair bill, or just slowly replace things myself

It seems like you have done the expensive 100k stuff already (timing belt, clutch etc). You should be good to go for a while unless you have thrashed your engine/transmission.

If you take the 'replace with lower mileage' approach, it had better be a new/very low mileage vehicle, otherwise you will go through the same 100k replacement period again.

Get a civic/corolla to get you from point a to b. If you think the car's gonna cost you more money in the near future, sell it and get a DD. Less headaches, less insurance cost, cheaper registration, cheaper gas, etc.

Only thing is one wheel bearing / hub. AC pannel is broke right now, not going to fix it.

123k on the car, ~60k on the tranny and clutch. No issues except for front right wheel bearing and a cracked helix UP. Tranny and clutch were my choice, not needed
