question for the baic paintballers
where do you guys take your compressed air tanks to get hydro'ed? I'm trying to go paintballing on saturday, but my tank is over due. Is there any where local that you guys use?
Don't say fire dept or scuba shop, cuz i've tried calling around, and they dont seem to do it anymore.

Gancherov, i wish it was only 30 bucks for a new tank. too bad they're like 150+ =/
2kool, do you know any welding shops around here?

There's a scuba shop off of almaden in san jose. I got mine hyrdo'd there about two years ago. You can also go to Cutting Edge Paintball in San Jose and they will send it off to get hyrdo'd. If you are going paintball locally let me know and I have a bunch of peeps playing at SCP that I could probably get someone to let you borrow theirs. Or I can sell you mine for cheap. CP 68 4500 doesn't need to be hydro'd for 4 more years I think and it has a myth reg on it for only 100$ which They normally go for 180$-240$

thanks for the info hesh_one. i'll give them a call and see.
Also, thakns snowflakewrx for the info, and for offering to get me a borrowed one. I'm just weary of damaging other peoples stuff, but i do appreciate your offer to help.

Mr Xevious, thanks for the suggestion, but sac is just a little bit far away.
i found a shop in pacheco that can help me get it tested and returned to me by friday. i did try sport chalet, but they have a 3 week lead time which doesnt help me since i need it saturday.
im usually fill at the field which is why i need to get it hydro'ed. last time, i was a month past end of the tested date and they almost didnt let me fill it.

my friend and i planning to go to Bear Creek in Los Gatos this saturday, 12/5 9ishAM, anyone want to play? we are new players and want to try out woodsball. the parking lot is small and gravel, so having a lowered car might not be ideal.
