So lately i sort of seen these Forrester with some like shiny silver rims that look like special sti or jdm sti rims, does anyone know what i'm talking about

2008 Forester XT Sports come with an STi front lip spoiler and the special multispoke STi wheels. The 2007 XT Sports didn't come with those things. In addition, they pretty much stopped doing the XT Sports thing for 2009 (since they redesigned the Forester altogether). Instead, there's just a more stripped down version of the XT Limited, like a "base" model XT. If that's what you're wondering. So the STi wheels on a factory Forester were a one time thing.

Except the "base" model XT doesn't have a manual tranny.

Yea, 4-speed "sport shift" transmission. No biggie. The enthusiasts like you and I are one of the few who would actually buy a manual, but the majority of the demographic are soccer moms or hiking dads who prefer an auto. Ah well. I'm not buying one, so no biggie to me. LOL

First off, they're 5x100, so they won't fit your 05 STI, and they're also only 7" wide.
