Q300 install question '11 STi Hatch
Hey guys,
im currently in the process of obtaining the q300 cat-back for my '11 Hatch as the first step in going stage 2, and was wondering what i could do to bolt it up to the stock dp until i get a aftermarket dp? i understand the invidia is 3inch and the stock dp is 2.5. Is there a gasket or something to hold me off in the mean time?

So I picked up the kit, and am having trouble getting the midpipe to hook up with the donut flange.
The person I picked it up from didn't give me any bolts or nuts that mate the two...does invidia sell them
With the kit new??? I was able to mate the two using stock parts but it only worked without the spring
On the bolt. I know I'm doing something wrong because there is a leak and its noticable above 4k
With slight power loss. Someone help!!

no...i figured it out...the springs are suppose to stay, from my understanding it keeps the tension between the two and holds it together much better than just using bolts and nuts, i cant get the bolt all the way through because the tension of the spring is too great and am unable to thread the nut. i dont have a proper tool to pinch it and thread it through so im prob just goin to take it to a muffler shop tomorrow and see what they can do.

For my Q300, I took off the donut gasket and used this http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Remf...-Gasket-2-Bolt I got one of those at Winchester Auto for like $7
I was having a hard time as well trying to get that leak fix and that gasket seem to do its job, I did tight that bolt down very tight ended up bending in the pipe were the bolts are clamping down causing it not to be even flat surface now, but that gasket I got help on that part as well.
