Calaveras huh? I would have thought that road would be fairly cop free.

Hey does anyone know if the Santa Cruz Traffic Court (that's where my case is) has any special restrictions on who takes traffic school? I know some courts have a max of 20mph over the limit to do traffic school, but I have no idea if SC has that restriction.

I got a 65 in a 35 in Los Gatos which ran 359 dollars. It had the option of going to traffic school on, but when I went to pay downtown San Jose at the courthouse on Ruff Ave. they said no. Supposedly here you can only go to traffic school for up to 25 mph over and the option just comes up automatically on the ticket and if you mail in the amount for traffic school they just send it back. I was pretty upset since the officer said I could and they just said he was mistaken at the courthouse. Oh well, it was my bad for doing it. Maybe you will luck out over there.

endeavor. Far as I know santa cruz's limit is pretty nice. I think you should be fine. But you can call the court house or go buy if you're around. It's off Ocean if you've never been there. By Staircase and what not. But my biggest personal experience there was like 20mph over.
dahveed...I got popped for nearly triple the speedlimit. Was total bullcrap. Cop said he could arrest me for the speed I was traveling and take my car for several other reasons..including no cats. Not one ticket got submitted. Total harassment case on the fremont side of thornton. Such crap. I was going like 50. But yeah for triple I think I would have lost my lisense.

was going like 50mph....
this guy in a mustang tried to race me so I rev'd on him. Launched and stopped before I even finished 1st gear. He went flying by and kept on going. What happened is where probably looking away...saw the 100 plus blip on their screen...pulled out of their hiding spot and saw me. The mustang made a left at the light. The guy knew it wasn't me that went by but they lost the other guy so they messed with me...not that I didn't deserve it. I mean I could have gotten an exhibition of speed for rabid acceleration. and I did have a few C.A.R.B. violations and what not. but still. They asked me to pump my brakes and I heard the original officer say "this isn't him. guy that went by had a tail light out." but he was a young guy and they had 3 cops on me. I guess they figured they'd not waste their time and have a go at me. No tickets got submitted. After a year of calling the courts and the DA the ticket got dropped..statute of limitations.
so yeah...not 50mph. But the ticket they gave me was like 60mph over plus. I was really going like...10mph over.
no my biggest speeding ticket was 85 in a 65. only other one I think was 57 in a 45 actually. I thought it was 67 but I'm pretty sure it was 57...that was the one in santa cruz. The 85mph one I was actually going like 105mph. I was on my way back from Riverside area and was about a half mile from my exit...well not about...was exactly I came to a stop directly under the sign on the freeway. I was coming back form my grandma's funeral and was really out of it. Long story short he felt sorry for me and let me off at 85.

There are many ways to get out of a ticket... I highly recommend the ticket assassin.... have beat 3 serious tickets that way...
