And of course highway 17...we saw a clearly drunk driver so we followed him. Got his plate number and called 911. He was in both lanes and using every inch of shoulder... 17 is "a dangerous road" there was only 1 chp... Flashed my brights and honked at the cop, no response... Thanks for nothing...

CHP's like "Yeah, and you are still keeping close enough to monitor the idiot driver and endanger yourself why?".
Tell me you stayed plenty far back to watch any possible stupidity ensue? Wish you had a dash cam I bet?
Still waiting to hear how many here got rolled and ticketed.

On my way to SF yesterday, I spotted a B&W cruiser tucked away against the sound wall of the onramp of E/B I-80 in Crockett/Port Costa just past the Carquinez Bridge. 'Tis a really good spot to nab speed demons as that stretch after making the right hand sweeper off the bridge is a shallow incline & most tend to gun it a bit as the speed limit bumps back up to 65. The bridge is posted for 55, but I'll be the first to admit I almost never turtle it on there.
Oh, my buddies told me about the DUI checkpoints in various cities at nite over the wknd tho. I'm all for nabbing drunks who wanna get behind the wheel.

I thought I see a bit more presence as well. Other than yesterday, I didn't venture too far from Vallejo/Benicia, so that could be a big reason not seeing much action.
