PS2 Europe?
Anyone know if there is any difference between the European and USA PS2 games? I know the JDM games will require some modding but EDM games?
Colin McRae Rally 04 is out in Europe on the PS2 already but I just realized that here in the US we're only getting it on Xbox (F***ing Microsoft!). Can I buy the European version?

I think you'll need a mod chip or boot disk. You've got to work around region codes and PAL->NTSC conversion to get a European game to run on a US PS2.
Also, are you sure it will never come out on PS2? CMR3 came out on Xbox 3 months (or so) before the PS2 version, maybe the same thing is happening again.

the european games i have tried with a Pal->NTSC patch have really sucked. the framerate drops bad due to the conversion. its not worth it cause the games arent even playable.
