prosport oil pressure gauge question

recently my gauge has been acting up. from the time it start it up too warmed up,its maxed at 100 psi. ive changed the sender with no change. now,the motor is solid.im not burning any oil, runs perfect. i tapped in below the TB and have a stainless line running to the sender.
is this a common PROSPORT issue?should i pull the adapter for the line and check for a blackage?

I've had issues with my prosport gauges. At one point, my boost gauge would read 5 psi when the engine was off. The needle on my oil pressure gauge would sometimes just bounce around. I've rewired the gauge a couple times.. but I gave up on it.

Had mine installed last week. Mann Eng. said where you put the sender can make a difference in the readings, which is why I went with just a sandwich adapter at the filter based on his recommendation. Have had my Prosport boost gauge for a while and have had no issues with it aside from the fact that the steppers are too loud.

Can't say that mine has registered 100 PSI either. Mann said while driving it should be ~85-90.

i double checked it today. the second i turn the key to the on position the needle heads to 100 and stays there. it doesnt even flutter when i start it. must be a bad ground or bad gauge. im leaning towards a bad gauge because the boost gauge shares the same ground with zero issues.

sometimes the wire connectors get dirty on my boost gauge and it bounces around like no ones business. Try just blowing the connectors out and see if it helps.

The sandwich adapter is basically a plate that goes between the oil filter and the block. There are ports where the senders attach to.

Here's a picture of what it looks like.

Same thing happened with my set up, I was running boost, EGT, and oil pressure gauges (60mm premium). First my oil pressure acted up, it was reading perfectly fine for the first 6 months then one day the needle decided to bounce around 100 to 80 to 110 even when the car was just on idle lol. Next was the boost, the needle got stuck on 10 and won't move up even when I'm in full boost. Changed up the sensors/senders and same thing. Switched up to 52mm aem digital gauges and everything is working just fine.

oh i see. what sender is that?
i really thought they would last longer in the car than in my truck. i have 2 oil pressure gauges, egt, boost and coolant temp gauge installed in my superduty. the boost gauge sees over 40psi daily and the hpop pushes 30,000 psi or more.weird. looks like a set of defis are in my future.

It's some kind of new electric sender. There is a specific name for it but I can't remember what it was. I have the same kind of sender monted on a sandwich plate as well. But I have Depo Gauges.

Been trying to find the name... It might just be a pressure switch.

This is the one I have, but yes, basically the same thing as above. I went with this one because it has the dual o-rings.
