one nice thing about CC is that when you use their credit card and it's over $299, it automatically goesinto a 6 month payment plan...

ThAt is you can afford it. Last couple big purchases I got at CC, they were able to price match frys and last one, the manager worked overtime to get additional $$$ when I used this weird coupon.

this is a badass deal:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16889433002

yeah it's a crazy off brand (at least i've never heard of it) but the reviews speak for the value.
$600 for a 42" 1080p tv that is getting 5 out of 5 by most reviewers. not bad!

Beware... Not only is that bluray player a cheapie, Sharp 1080p LCDs are have banding issues. yes, even the newest ones. I was checking them out the other day, same banding issues as the first gen 1080P lcds they made 2 yrs ago. Their 720p were awesome, I don't know where they went bad.

That Samsung A630 is supposed to be pretty good since they fixed the macrblocking and image retention issues from the 4 and 5 series sets.

You want a badass deal on a TV? http://www.adorama.com/PCTH42PZ85U.h...30155059199565

or even better if you're on a budget: http://6ave.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=PANTH42PZ80U

yeah i really want a plasma even if the life isn't as long or whatever.

the blacks and motion is so much more superior with the plasma it's worth having the shorter life.

Glad I stuck with the Aquos 720p, I hadn't heard about the 1080p issues...

Plasmas today have long half lives, LONG and they aren't as susceptible to burn in and things like older ones. They make great tvs, esp at these prices!
