Pre Purchase Inspection

Do any of you guys have a good recommendation for a spot to get a pre purchase inspection of a used Mazdaspeed3? Preferably in the east bay or north bay.

Thanks!

You might want to try the dealership because they know a lot more about the car and maybe recent work that was done or needed to be done.

Any shop worth it's salt is going to check the same things.
General Functionality
Cylinder pressure
Suspension Play
Clutch engagement
General Fluid check for debris and contamination

SF Autoworks seems to have a pretty good rep as a Mazda specialist

I would consider a dealership as they can check for specific recalls and factory service campaigns

I would, but the speed3's are a lot cheaper to buy and less thirsty on the fuel. I agree with the better looks, power and similar shape. I'd add that the exhaust note is far more pleasing.

Thanks for all your replies. I appreciate the help.

I had an '02 WRX for 7 years, it got crap mileage and it was fairly unreliable. Maybe some day I'll buy another Subaru when the family doesn't have other all wheel drive vehicles, but for now I just need a somewhat economical daily driver that can be entertaining when I want it to be.
