Ah man... I really, REALLY didn't expect this from him, and I'm always taken back when one of our subie friends dies, and for some reason a suicide is always that much worse... Knowing he was in THAT much pain that he'd take his own life.
People think suicide is some easy task that can be done by anyone, and that's a lode of crap. As someone else said, suicide is NOT easy and you have to be in the absolute worst state of mind possible to be able to take your own life, and obviously he was suffering a great deal because people don't just wake up one morning and think to themselves "hey, today I'm going to take my own life!". It takes years and years of thought/suffering, and people will think/contemplate the deed for years before they actually commit suicide. It's hard to think that he was in pain for as long as he was and to the degree that he was suffering.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends, I know it's probably the hardest thing in th world to have a loved one commit suicide.
His parents wont find solace by anyone's words, and wont find comfort with anything but time gone by... at least that how it was for me and many others.
Rest in peace, Eric... We'll miss ya man.

Noah, I went ahead and put this together from your sticker and what you said. I'd be glad to do whatever changes you guys feel necessary and send you the illustrator vector file.

Eric, I was just over at your house Thursday talking to you about your car, my car, and how envious I was of you. I never got to say goodbye. You were the nicest guy and gave me unmeasurable amounts of advice and help with my WRX. I only wish you knew what you were leaving behind. Thank you so much for everything. I miss you buddy.

This is really sad. It is easy to try and place blame but the bottom line is some people hide their sadness well and when they want to go they will find a way and they wont say a word.
I walked this road myself. Wrote a farewell note and everything but was interrupted. Desperation is a sad beast.
