My condolences. Terrible to hear someone has taken their own life. This is especially heartbreaking for those who were close to them because they'll wonder what they could have done to prevent it.

RIP Eric. He was an awesome guy.I talked to him the other day
It was his personal decision. Depression affects more people than you can imagine!
And its even more sad when that person is a well known member of a close-knit community....

I know why you feel like that, but I trained with crisis councleors when I was a psych major and believe me, suicide is NOT easy and is not ever someones first second or third choice.

Unless there's a terminal illness involved, Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

People reading this need to learn from horrible incident that suicide is not the answer.
