I think next year parking needs to be part of the deal.

You pay to get into hammy...even if it's cost more...you pay to get in, you get an envelope in the mail with directions from various places. info for the larger caravan meets...like D&B, a piece of paper to tape on your windshield and maybe some vendor stickers.

Looks like they can handle two lines going in...the one with stickers just drive right in. The ones that don't have to pay parking.

Seemed like nobody was ready for us this year. Next year will be bigger so some future planning needs to happen in regards to parking, meet spots, shirts, press, etc.

How about you dedicate some of your FREE time and help?

OneMan: You bitter because you don't feel like you got your money's worth? Well, ****, maybe next year it'll just be a meet and everyone can bring their own food. No condiments, drinks, food, music, vendors, renting of that location, anything. We'll just find a large dirt lot and all show up.

Because, being on the planning side, I can assure you there was so much more that went in to it than you caught. If you're upset over the group drives to get there, they had NOTHING to do with the actual event planning. The event is NOT the group drives to get to the site.

It's obvious to me that you're upset over the parking costing money. The event is a Mt. Hamilton meet. If you ever stroll up there, that site is the ONLY one that can accomodate vehicles. Did that money go to the event? Hell no. It went to the park, just as it should. If it maintains those twisty roads that make us all feel good inside, I'll gladly pay them again and again to be there.

If you're upset over the shirts, there was A LOT of planning and something complicated that situation at the last minute (and you did NOT hear about it, because we're not going to talk ****). There were catastrophes all around the place and I assure you, that will never happen again if any of us have anything to do with it.

If you want there to be more press for the event, you're dooming the event to more than one underage driver off a cliff. Really, what you have as an ideal (at least what it seems from your post) is a completely different event. So, how about you just do that and stop ****ting on a very successful event that required much more effort and teamwork than you observed.

If you're bitter about the money, just come out and say it. If you're bitter about not getting enough food, next time go up and get more. If you were unhappy with the event, make your own or just don't go.

I assure you, your opinion is a minority if you think the event was a failure and needed as much improvement as you alluded to.

.... I could go on forever.

Edit: Sorry, it's late and I would type up something more coherent... Let me add some more spaces.

Yeah, in that light...

Getting a bunch of people to dedicate their free time and effort without compensation other than getting in free to the event? Yeah, that definitely required no effort or planning. *scratches head*

Ugh, I need to finish waking up.
