I don't think of myself a a post ***** at all. Sure i too dream of the day when i'll get my avatar as do most of us on i-club.

Just allow us all to have them and i think alot of the problem will go away. But some of us do post replies to our friends that are also on-line on some threads because it's fun. No harm intended.

How did you get so many posts in such a short amount of time anyway?

Obviously I have to have one as well just because...
if you don't like avatars, its your choice to have em turned off....check your member profile..

Yea, but, looking at boxes with red "x's" is kinda annoying from time to time. Some people could get it right, some people can't, some people have reliable servers, some don't. What if there's a guy with a 200k animated gif for an avatar? The poor dude with the dial up connection's gonna wait forever!

Gee... no one's considered the rule from elder days: "The only posts that count are in the tech forums". That's what avatars were trying to promote anyhow right?

If you feel the minimum posts are too high for an avatar go review some products. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Heeey... If I postwhore in this thread, do I get in extra trouble?
Actually, if you ask me, it might not be a bad idea to have no avatars whatsoever, like it was before. Poor dial-up suckers like me get frustrated enough not being able to watch the funky live-action anime thread

I'm just curious. I'm also a frequent visitor of Honda-Tech.com and they seem to handle the site fine with avatars enabled. They simply set a maximum size for avatars and the site moves quickly from page to page.. I don't understand why I-Club won't do this... I also agree with the ability to turn off avatars, if people don't like them, they don't have to view them...

Same with Clubwrx.net. Never been much of a problem.
