Post post zombie apocalypse
Looking for any stories that are post-post zombie apocalypse....
most stories are during, or just after the apocalypse. Looking for movies, books, short stories where the zombie apocalypse has been around long enough that man has now developed societies that are in steady state amongst the zomies.
Kind of like a "walking dead, 3 years later"
or the story continuing after the end of "I am Legend" or "28 days later"
I've read a few fan fic that's like "months after the apocalypse" and I like the concept after the initial shock has worn off, humans have figured out how to band together and create defenses/shelter/sustenance and are now forming new societies amongst the threat.
Anything?

The Mad Max movies are basically about that subject minus the zombies and plus sociopaths
The Postman (Kevin Coster) is about a post-post world... not that I'd recommend watching it.

I almost forgot - Fire Fly the series and Serenity the movie
It's more sci-fi but they spend a good amount of time dealing with a group called "The Reavers" which are basically zombies with space ships
