Well I've spent the best part of the last hour looking for some decent photos of the house my parents lived in for 25 years and I can't find any, so these will have to do for now ... they kind of date me!
Brook Cottage, Peaton, Shropshire - my very first home. That's Mother standing out front. Photo taken in the early '70's.
Knowle House, Cranham, Gloucestershire - where my parent's lived for 25 years and I can still remember the phone number! In trying to find a photo online I discovered that this old farmhouse is now a listed building! It was over 400 years old when my parents bought it in 1969. Mullion windows and walls that were 2 feet thick. Acres and acres of common land and woodlands right outside the front door. Loved the place, hated to see it sold when my parents retired.

From the day I was born until now, I've always been in San Leandro. Boring huh? Anyway, since this was brought up, I decided to use Google Maps Street View to see the street I used to live in when I was 6 (I'm 27 now). I haven't seen this place for almost 2 decades. I can barely remember what the house looked like since the new owners probably repainted or remodeled the house since then. I sorta remember which part of the street though (it's a small street). The house itself was too small for us now, but I do miss having a big backyard. My parents sure came a long way since moving here from Hong Kong.
