Oh man, the place I got my hotel reservations through screwed up. I was supposed to stay in the susukino district. I call the hotel, and they had no idea who I was. Turned out they booked me in a hotel in Tokyo instead of Sapporo. I found out 2 days before I left. You have to book a room 6 months ahead to get something during the festival. I was lucky to find a hotel room in Niseko. I went to Sapporo for one night to meet my friend, and I stopped by for a few hours right before I flew out. Had to get some ramen from Yokocho. I'm going for a package next time.
Yeah Ive been there three times, Ive got some good friends there now, if you ever get back check out the Gaijin Bar, its a good place to meet up with friendly westerners that will tell you the best places to go. Its also the spot where local girls go to hook up with, uh, Gaijins

Next time youre there be sure to take the trolly up the the top of the hill above the city to get an awesome view, this pic doesnt do it justice.

Thanks... I also have a 1958 ducati 175 and another yellow 900ss. They are under the resto knife right now. I dont think I could ever sell them.
