That's interesting.

Is there a monthly or annual fee to have it work on your phone? The last time I looked into something like that, there was, but it was with a different brand.

$68 per year! Not too bad considering, it sends me text messages and emails when it's set off

Got the yakima whispbar fixed point rack for my 06 GD. Did the roof rack mod last night with the mounts that hector truong makes. Took 4 hours and had to drop the entire headliner of my car. The only thing that saved me was being able to work with my body thru the moonroof hole still inside the car lol.

Say hello to rainguards!!!!!!

As I mentioned above, I cannot quote my price, I suggest calling Jag at Audio House here in Napa and talking to him about it, let him know that Dave with the blue STI referred you,

Hmm. How's the range on it with your phone as far as starting/locking/unlocking the car? I'm guessing it's more or less unlimited range, but just wanted to make sure.

The only limit is the cell network it attaches to. These smart start systems use the AT&T wireless network, it reacts faster if your phone is connected to wifi.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I think I'll be getting one in the near future. Just want to finish doing my bolt ons and suspension stuff first.

I have done a fair amount to my car too, and this and my stereo are the best. Hands down.

Yeah, I can't see myself really regretting a good alarm system. Especially one that can notify me on my phone. Does that GPS tab on the app mean it can track your car as well after you've parked it?

Yes, the GPS function allows you to pin point where you parked, as well as act as a low jack style system
