That one in your pic is the exact same color i am typing on right now. Only problem so far is my mouse pad doesnt work anymore but it doesnt matter cuz i have a nice logitech wireless mouse. So far no disk drive needed because my brother downloaded some nice virus software (avanti) and comparable Word docs over the internet, plus all i need is a flash drive.

I really like it compared to the 8.9" that i used to have. Really like the white as it matches my car haha. The mouse is taking time to get used to as its smaller space than the smaller system but i as well got a logitech mouse to go with it so its not so bad. I got the external drive so i can installs some games and to make back ups and such. Mostly got it for the in case situations.
How old is yours for the mouse to have gone out?

like a month and a half ish, kinda weird. I didnt buy any warranties or anything
Looks like youve had experience with the other netbook, but for me it took awhile to get used to the "smaller" keyboard. Like, my hands fall off the sides so i mess up typing sometimes. But i like mine, i use it as my only computer replacing a dell laptop with staple gun staples in the monitor connected to a stone age monitor. Definitly falls under the category like my car as "perfect purchase"

I know a lot of people are hatchback fans, but I just prefer the look of the sedans, I was disappointed that the 08/09 STi was only available in the hatchback. Of course the STi is out of my price range right now and the WRX is stretching it.
And thanks for the welcomes, the subie community seems to be really nice and helpful.

Yeah i had the other one since Christmas so i got quite used to it. This one is getting easier to get used to as the day is going on haha. The keyboard wasnt an issue on the other one for me but for sure this one is a bit more space so its more comfortable. Thats odd it only worked for that short of time.. maybe something got under the button or maybe reload the touchpad drivers. Maybe you disabled it somehow? Have you gone into settings and checked it out at all? I really like the acer and use is daily i was hella bummed to dump soda in the other one but hey i got an upgrade out of it
