i did a brief review about it in this thread
https://www.i-club.com/forums/bay-area-15/anyone-have-hook-up-unlocked-phones-206483/
n97 is not a phone for the masses. price is a killer. i havent seen it for less than $550. in terms of shopping for cell phones, american are extremely price conscious. "free phone with 2 year act.? hellz yea" theres no real reason to pick up a n97 besides the fact its not linked to any provider. at least you dont have to sell your soul to apple to put ringtones on it. (pretty stupid how i have to buy a ringtone that i already legally own)
it has a full keyboard that makes things easier, plus a d-pad for precise clicking. solid 4 out of 5. just let me know if you want more info about it. i know im being very short on such an expensive phone, so ask away

It only took me a few minutes to find a way to make free ringtones for my iPhone 3GS (or any iPhone for that matter, duh, LOL) by searching Google. It's pretty easy. You just need to chop the song down in a program like Audacity then convert it on iTunes to AAC and change the file extension to .m4r. It wasn't that different from when I made ringtones for my Sony Ericsson K790a. Just an extra small step. That Nokia N97 is mad sexay though. I've always liked Nokias, well, their entry level phones were great and easy as hell to use, but their higher end stuff always seemed like a failure in the past. I hope they did right lately though! My friend just got an E63 and he loves that thing.
