im down to help set up daniel. i myself have a decent sized cooler and a canopy. so i can always bring that one along. my car may not be the biggest but i can see what i can do to help out. i have a lot of experience with setting up events from back in high school when i was student body treasurer. so i can definitely work under pressure. and i dont mind grilling as long as there are rotoation or something and not 2-3 straight hours of grilling but more rotation that way we get a chance to go talk to people also. just pm or aim me.

No. I certainly have not. The post was based on previous meets and how we have done things in the past. Things will be different at a different location, but will be nothing more then an adaptation of the old location (In terms of doing things differently accordingly).

You guys will vote on a location and only then will I make a decision.

Oh, did I mention there's a Subaru shop within a ten minute drive? Maybe, just maybe they might be convinced to help out with some of the pre-staging. Then it's simply a matter of a couple of Foresters showing up, shuttling a few trips to/from the park, and everything's there. Costco? An extra 5 minutes of driving IF we need something on the day of the event.

There's plenty of time for all that since he's taken charge, and got the ball rolling so early this year.

Wow, that actually would be a HUGE plus imo. I'm sure even with the drive to Novato, Daniel and the caravan of organizers would probably love to have a staging area ie: LIC perhaps? With Costco 10-15min away from this park it would certainly make it easier on those who are on ice duty, or resupplies. I gotta say that those factors certainly weigh in favor of the Novato location, but I do have a soft spot for Mt Hammy, as I'm sure most of us will.

I don't want non-i-club folks there... unless they come with a member, but I dont want complete strangers from a dealership to show up... I'd have NO IDEA as to how many people would show up... sorry.

Costco??? You could knock off a couple of items and a ton of effort if the event was catered. But we know this already. Carry on...

Add me to the volunteer list: I'm down for transport, set up and clean up.

Oh, and I still think it would help a lot if people who pre-pay get a voucher and you only buy food for those people. Anyone else who shows up and didn't pre-pay could bring their own food and drinks.

How about a totally new place

I vote for the top of skyline at that huge parking lot between Alpine Road and Hwy 9.

Better weather than both places, more than one way to get there, with better roads.

Not nearly enough parking, from the satellite photo, and there wouldn't be even as many spaces as pictured if you count vendor/sponsor booths and tents.
