So when is the peak? As I posted in my first post, I am looking for the best time to watch it. Is it Friday morning or Saturday morning?

From the website: "In 2005, the Perseids are expected to reach their maximum on Aug. 12. Peak activity is unfortunately predicted for the daylight hours across North America. Skywatchers are thus encouraged to watch during the predawn hours of Friday, Aug. 12 and again during the early morning hours of Saturday."

Tomorrow morning will probably be the best before sunrise. The conclusion of the 'best viewing time' will be Saturday morning. Either way, I am sure you should have a good show, if for no other reason than going for the adventure. Good luck for whenever you try viewing!
