Ted,

Don't remember what I pulled that day but it wasn't much. The noise was better than the whp on that day. Right now I'm pulling about 262whp on the same dyno. That day it was closer to 192whp if I remember (now that I think about it). It's funny cuz the car sounds so mean and I love it...but you just have to be careful I guess. I'm sure it helps that it's not a daily driver.

LB

P.S. thanks for the love!

Thanks for hooking me up last night gagan. Hopefully I can get those installed asap and I hope it fixes the issue. It's driving me nuts.

Lance....yeah man. Lowballs wagon is pissed. It's probably my favorite wagon ever. Other guys do STI swaps or body kits and stuff like that. But the lowball wagon is just PISSED off. Something about it.

oh...and snow snow..snows. over a foot and a half last night.

Where is the exhaust hitting? I have the Invidia DP mated to a Perrin catback (sounds so good) and when it was originally installed it would hit in the tunnel. I was going to try hangers but was told that would not work. Nate at Subaru Specialists made some minor adjustments with the exhaust and it hasn't hit since.

That's where it's hitting. But I have it connected to the stock downpipe.

But it's smacking on the tunnel and on one of the mounts for the driveline I think.

do you know what he did to make it work? Cause everyone I've talked to said to get long hangers and problem solved. I've got them but haven't put them on yet.

I'll have to ask him exactly what he did. I'll try to call him in a bit.

Lance. Dude I just realized something. When did you get that perrin? Weren't you running some huge strumung deal? not only that..you have bronze SDR's.

I just got the video to work. Sounds like an old fighter plane or something. insane.

But I was just realizing something. My car is becoming like the nice version of yours.

You black. Me white. Both Bronze SDR's. Both Perrin. you just switched to coil over but had you not we'd have had very similar suspension. Nutty. haaa. But yours is still way more pissed than mine.

Just thought it was funny our similar tastes in vehicle...I nearly went black. and in snowboards. haaa.

I don't have coil overs. I have spec C struts and springs. Front MRT camber plates.

Lowballs got Zeal coil overs. Thing he got the V6...can't recall. pretty sure though.

coil overs are awesome..just out of my budget for now considering I have my cadi to spend money on and I just gave my lady $1500. I like the struts so far. Stiff as hell but not to bouncy. I can tolerate the ride. We'll see how others feel.

Word!!! My SDR's are the gunmetal or whatever they call it. And then my Torque's are silver. I got my Perrin some time last year. Before that I did have the Stromung set up but it hit on my tunnel area due to the Perrin DP angle or something. So I sold that and just got the Perrin to make like easy.

And yes...my car is pissed off!!!!!!!

Word. The perrin sounds so kick ***. I was unsure about it being loud at first, but I'm loving it now.

OneManArmy: I just called Nate. He's telling me that the noise was coming from the exhaust bumping in to the corner of the rear seat, drivers side floor pan. The fix was to lightly tap the floorpan area with a hammer to give it a very small amount of additional clearance, and that's what made the problem go away.

I thought of that when I was under there. I think I'll try the hangers. If they don't work then I'll bang it a couple times.

That sounds like a good idea. I never really thought about banging out the bottom of the floor plan, but it definitely would work Ray.
