Part Number Please, for side vent thingy

Hi all.

My friend has 2011 WRX, in white, and between Davis and Tahoe, he lost the side vent on the driver side. It is the thing between the fog light and the wheel in the image below. Satin White Pearl.

57731FG160WU is the original number. It changes to 57739FG020, which is unpainted. Your friend will have to visit a body shop.

Thanks for the help Unit 91! I probably shouldn't get it from the stealership eh? (they would have to order it unpainted and get it painted OEM?) I think they will get back to me regarding the cost. Not sure how I should proceed, but the bumper looks so violated as it sits haha.

I'm so tired of people saying 'stealership'. If the place was so bad you (literally YOU) probably wouldn't have your car in for service right now... would you? Just saying.

By the way... look at my location... I don't know all these part numbers for fun.

You CAN NOT order the part from Subaru pre-painted. It will have to go to a body shop no matter what. The part isn't that expensive and I actually have them in stock.

Unit 91, please don't take offense, I have nothing against dealerships (just used it as a slang term). I would do the maintenance myself, but I just don't have the means to do it at my convenience (dealership gave me a sweet deal on the factory maintenance plan). I was just trying to justify costs (like most penny pinchers). Anyways, they quoted ~$40 for the part. From what I can tell, the 08-10 STI have the same side plate cover. I couldn't find any fisches for the 2011 WRX.

And what a coincidence, I'm sitting in the customer lounge at Stevens Creek right now. Have a good one

They are all the same. You can walk right to the parts counter and see me if you'd like. I'm sitting up here most of the day instead of my office.

Experience @ Stevens Creek Subaru has been great! Work done on the car and was productive thanks to the wi-fi available in the customer waiting lounge. Props to Ryan @ Parts Dept.! Laugh it up Sigma =)

Order it wherever you want. I was just stressing that Subaru doesn't supply the part painted.

I don't see what is so great about this thread. You're all a bunch-a trolls. Haha.
