Very bad indeed imo. I work like right off the freeway in that area. Traffic is already pretty bad, and I see accidents in the area almost weekly. Hell I wound up getting my WRX because of an accident I had in the area. Traffic in the area surrounding 65 is as bad as anything you see in the San Jose area.
Not to mention the whole growth of the area as well. Tons of housing and shopping centers are springing up like weeds. I guess it's inevitable....

a theme park is exactly what sac needs. theres nothing else to do there. Thats why i moved out.
although i agree that traffic is already bad in roseville. i haveta say that 95% of traffic in the sac area is driver related. people in sac SUCK BAD at driving. why do they slow down to 35 mph whenever there is any type of turn on the freeway?! theres no need for that! Especially that part of the freeway on business 80 near arden. that 1 REALLY bugs me cause people slow down for no reason no matter what time of the day it is! its just a 20 degree turn people!

I HAVE FOUND IT! THE TOWN I AM MOVING TO!
Trona, CA is right in the middle of the China Lake military weapons testing area. There is nothing there but desert and uranium mines and houses only start at about $25,000.
Sounds like a good place to start a Subaru following.

I am so glad that I am not in Sacramento anymore... Totally bad idea!
And... There is more to do in Sacramento then a lot of places in California so Sacramento does not need an amusement park. They should put it somewhere where another town or city that has less money needs it. Make the boring little town in Cali that everyone hates more exciting!

Only problem is even less professional sports in the area, and Casinos are not really amusement parks
In all reality, I really like the greater Sac area. Its like the perfect location between everything... hour to the bay area, hour to the snow, great back-roads to drive all around, every store you can think of within a couple miles, nice year round weather, lots of hot chicks... I dont care much for big cities like SF and the bay area is even more congested.
The problem with sac transportation wise is that there really arent any fast freeway bypasses to go around the 80/5/50 corridors where all the mess usually is.

I think every city should have a track and an AutoX course!!
And I think the crappy thing about Sac traffic is that all the freeways connect so its all one kind of traffic, there are not any secret back roads cause everyone knows them, and that between the hours of like 3 and 7 you better have a lot of time on your hands to sit in traffic. Getting out of Sac State everyday and then Driving to Lodi for work was such a pain.
