English Beat isn't dead but not much going on from them , The Sex pistols or PiL (Johny Lydon is still a nutbag, but doesn't sing any more, or whatever you call it), Morrissey still farts around but hasn't produced squat, Hüsker Dü, Natalie Merchant(10k maniacs, but she still does concerts), Bauhaus(no albums but still alive), Gene loves Jezebel, Cocteau Twins, Butthole Surfers, Violent Femmes, Love and Rockets(Saw them in Madrid in the 80s, it ROCKED), The Church, Joy division......

there are tons of bands that just fell out of the limelight, but never really stopped.

The funny thing is I'm stuck in a rutt, I still listen to the music of my youth, although I've added a few new genres to my collection of taste, but overall I still prefer alternative/indie music. My mp3 player is loaded with about 10gig of alternative, and 4 gig of misc stuff(jazz, classical, funk, drum and bass, all kinds of good stuff)

Who owned one of these? (it was an album title from Stormtroopers of Death)

Of course you had to have your U.S.A. for M.O.D. Shirt as well :P
