It used to be Leon's in San Francisco. But the bastard retired and closed up both shops.
Big Nate's BBQ (a la Nate Thurmond of local NBA legend) is very poplar.
BBQ done by white people is always inferior.

Flints, and Chef Edwards are definitely the best BBQ in the east bay. The Flints on Shattuck has been closed down, but there's still on on Bancroft off of 580, near the eastmont mall.
