I worked my *** off building reverse osmosis H2O filters for 3 years, saving almost every dollar. Bought the RS on 2/1/01 with a 50% down payment. I have since paid it off.

how about becoming a real estate investor (REI)? Still not a 'quick' cash thing. But if you do it right and good opportunities come up for you, you might get the break you wanted. Just remember, REI is not for everyone. Take care, and good luck!

RAD,
General idea on this REI thing is basically buy low sell high. Find something you can buy for 70% or lower than the market value, fix it up, and sell it. Most of the time is to find someone in financial trouble and need to sell ASAP (like within days) aka 'motivated sellers'. You have to know if the property is really worth it (your part to do the research) before buying (there are many other things you can do other then straight buying it). Fix it up, which sucks in CA unless you can do it yourself (due to labor rate). Find a buyer! There goes your profit. Of course there is more to it than just that. Few things... You have to make sure the property you are buying really does worth that much, even at 70% of the market value. Be VERY careful with contracts because a lot of money is involved. Got to be able to find a buyer! If you are seriously interested in this, let me know. I can give you some detail information.

Leo
