Nothing to frown about, its about the only thing paint related substitute got right... unless of course you like the look of all you paint chipped away.

The car was painted that way specifically to prevent it from being chipped/damaged from road rash. If you take a paint thickness gauge to it, its a good 50-75% thicker on the all around the bottom 4-5 inches of the car compared to the top. The "orange peel" look is the result of the factory spraying on a lot more paint + coat for more protection.
