I like the TL, the wife thinks thinks its too big, but thats what i've been pushing for. The size constraint is probably the biggest factor, then looks, then comfort. for me maintenance and overall quality is the biggest factor since i'm the one whose going to have to deal with it.

the coupe were looking at is an 05 with less than 60k miles for about $13k. It seems like a pretty good deal, but there's a lot of negative sentiment here regarding maintenance and such. I dont care that the car is "gutless", my wife was driving an 04 corolla before she got rid of it, obviously she doesnt care for power.

for 13k, I'm not seeing many options with that kind of mileage in that class of vehicle.
I see some people on the MBZ forums and youtube videos pump out oil via where the dipstick is... I personally don't do it, I feel like the "gunk" that is at the bottom is easier to flush it out than to suck out (giggles aside). If you want to go with the extraction method you can buy on of those extractors for ~$60.

Fairly simple process. Brightside, the oil filter in on top .

Don't think there is a dipstick on the older coupe so you'll have to use the computer. Unsure about the newer coupes.

Apologies I thought you said $15k for a c230 coupe. I usually see 06 (v6) sedans for 15-17k. 05 (1.8L supercharged) sedans for 12-14k. If its cheaper then the more worried I get about the condition. Coupes I'm expecting $2-3K less than sedans since they are not as "desirable" in terms of how they look.

so all the recommendations to look at e46 convinced me to at least compare, I'm completely new to the euro luxury car segment so I have no idea what to watch out for here, but the below looks like a decent deal, only thing that jump out is a listed Tachometer in the bullet point features, is that stock?
