i am actually very glad tho that i only hit a racoon.. there were these two deer standing right along side of the road... and one was moving when i came around another corner.. i was sooo scared it would jump out.. cuz then it'd be me being run over by a deer...
i slowed down quite a bit after that...

Racoons are cool, if they are just around.

When they are converging on your campsite in Alpha Delta formation in a pack 7 +1 fox, in an attempt to raid your food, I have no sympathy... out comes the wrist rocket and 1/4 inch steel shot...

I know it might feel bad to run over a raccoon, but on my way home yesterday i decided to take the "fun" way instead of cop-laden hwy 17, i come around a corner, luckily going speed limit, and there was a city worker blowing leaves in the middle of my lane, swerved a bit, i dunno if you'd call it swerving more like a mid-turn adjustment, and the guy just looked at me like he didn't almost die.

I like the way Racoons look... cool, but they are predators for my Koi. Don't have any sympathy for the critter especially if it jumped in front you. Just hope no damage was done to you or your vehicle.
