Thousands of people in Norway last night saw a crazy spiral in the sky, Its all over the news over there right now. pretty freaky

The Chinese report stated that this happened back in 1988, and that that incident was attributed to the detonation of nuclear missiles high in the sky. The guy that they were interviewing was a Chinese scientist; he stated that the April incident occurred consecutively over the course of 5 nights, and that his theory was that some nation or organization is probably firing high-powered, possibly nuclear missiles into the sky. The host of the show then concluded by rhetorically asking whose missiles those were back in April.

According to the article linked, the Finnish meteorological officials stated that they believe the cause was a Russian missile.

It's actually pretty scary to consider the possibilities of Lord-knows-who testing their missiles so brazenly.
