I had the most AMAZING BLT (home made).

2 slices of Orowheat multigrain bread, fresh as can be
6 slices of SUPER thick sliced smoked applewood, peppered bacon
stack of fresh lettuce
Sliced purple tomatos from our garden (a little more acidic then regular tomatoes and taste a bit more like tomatoes
A very light spread of ranch

= Best BLT I've ever had. The bacon and tomatoes really made it epic. God damn that was good. I could eat that every day.

Once again.... dinner meet at Daniel's?!

It's chili time!

1# bison
.5# pork sausage

1/2 large onion (chopped)
4 cloves of garlic (chopped)
1 jalepeņo (chopped)
1 serrano (chopped)

2 tsp paprika
1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt

30 oz tomato sauce
15 ounces kidney beans
15 ounces pinto beans
1 bottle of fat tire (recipe calls for light/non-alcoholic beer, but I had this in the fridge and am not a huge fan of it, so in it went!)

It's all on the stove (brought it to a simmer, and now am letting it set off of the heat for the afternoon/evening).
