The official unveiling of the 2015 WRX

Nice pictures. That blue is beautiful.
I'm still not to hot on it.
Front angle is like a 7.5/10 for me.
Rear is like a 7/10.
But the side profile is a 4/10. It just screams boring commuter car from the side. Looks too much like a Civic, and those side mirrors are whacky.

Hmmmm that's a mixed bag right for me...
1) I really like the front, especially in blue...
2) Side profile does smack of a Civic...
3) Rear is a straight up Corolla/Altima mashup, which is probably crowd they are hoping to further expand into.
4)I also still don't get why a 4-banger needs a fake dual-exhaust with quad tips...esthetical trend?
However, in the end, if I was in a market for a new car, I would seriously consider the new WRX given the current "sporty" car options

I really want myself to like it. The performance and interior gets a thumbs up. Exterior makes me feel like I'd be sacrificing form for function. I really dislike the shape of the hood and the trunk (cause of the whack taillights).

I think they messed up offering a theoretical 8 speed cvt. What a noisy pos. They should have made a brand new 6EAT instead. Now that would be sweet. With paddle shifters like the legacy.
This looks like the new n/a impreza too much and honestly thats where they messed up.
The concept was cool but toooo over the top I agree. Would have been something along the lines of the tesla model s in price im sure.

CVT is the only choice in the whole lineup going forward and is more efficient than the EAT, but while it is a mature enough technology, I'd take a 4EAT over it any day. it looks like the new Impreza because ti IS an Impreza
I personally like the look of it, but it could have been better.
