I read somewhere that some of the STI aftermarket exhausts had an issue (the sports package add on for WRX). Not sure if this applies to standard the standard STI as well. I ordered my car with no options in hopes that it would expedite the process. I hope I get my car next week!

 

Yeah got mine on the 4th of April, I found out it came in by the dealership's Facebook update, a picture of mine surrounded by other 15's. Most orders have been coming in super early.

 

The exhaust problem only covers the optional STI exhausts for the WRX& STI, not the stock exhaust on the STI's.

 

Interesting. My friend's is the Launch Edition, so maybe that's why, presuming it may have a different exhaust then.

 

The LE's have the base exhaust unless they added it on. Those who have added the STI exhaust have seen their deliveries pushed back to late June and July. Rumor is the delay with them is due to weld qualities.

The underspoiler kits are also backordered to August.
