Some Giants blog commenters have been saying that we may be getting Cody Ross back. They also said he was put on waivers by the Red Sox.
Normally I take commenter rumors with a grain of salt but it definitely sounds plausible. Red Sox are blowing up their roster. We have no offensive production from LF and Sabean might just do this. As long as Ross is willing to come back with no ill feelings towards the Giants, I'm all for it.
Edit: Heard on tv that 1st place teams won't be able to get people off waivers because the lower place teams in the division can block the waiver/trade process.

One thing that does concern me is that Posey almost has 2x the RBIs of the 2nd highest on the Giant's roster atm.
