I gotta disagree..
The niners were going to get the ball back, his fumble led to the field position. When you can't convert on third down that's not good but the niners were playing shutdown defense in the 2nd half. They just put a big stop on them and they had the momentum. Honestly the Giants couldn't really do much the 2nd half if it weren't for Williams two turnovers.

Very simple analysis.
Someone goes down, someone needs to take their place... they either become a somebody (ie. Steve Young, Victor Cruz) or you become a nobody... and unfortunately for Kyle Wililams, although he's a quick receiver and can stretch the field, he coughed the ball up 3 times! 3 times! With that said... that's 3 too many. I feel sorry for the guy though, he wasn't supposed to be there fielding special teams and being a wide out. But you have to look at what the 49ers had as receivers... which I'm sure they'll address next year.
Morgan - Hurt
Ginn - Hurt
Crabtree - He still sleepin'? One catch really?
Williams - ... everyone knows this one already.
Edwards - Bust
Swain - Who are you again?
49ers will pick up a baller in the WR position next year... and probably another DE/Speed Rushing LB.
Oh and damn... 49ers got scroomed on 2 int's (2 49ers hitting each other!) and got screwed on the fumble by Bradshaw. Practically had those 2 ints for easy picking.
In any case, I'm happy for the 49ers. Definitely showed us that excellence is back, and we should expect it.

Even though Alex Smith has improved since last year, He still needs some training or something. He can't throw outside the pocket or during a scramble or anything, he usually messes up when he gets uncomfortable and we can't deliver the ball down the field. When he is comfortable and in the pocket and has time to throw, he is pretty good which is great. Unfortunately that wasn't really the case tonight
