Amazing game. 49ers had a billion turn overs, laid the wood on pierre thomas, got some sexy picks off Brees.
I will say I did get a bit worried during the 2nd Q when the Saints got 2 TDs in a row. Luckily the D settled down in the 2nd half.
The 4 TDs scored in the final 5 minutes was an insane roller coaster. I'm like nooooo Sproles burns us, then helllllll yesss such an awesome call on a 3rd down naked bootleg, then like OMG Whitner coulda drilled Graham instead!, then like OMFG Smith just took the 49ers down in 1:31 for the win wtf crazy pass n catch!
The catch reminded me of Owens catching a pass from Young in the Wild Card game vs GB. Davis is such a beast he toppled Harper on impact n fell into the endzone! I was so happy just to see Smith finally get some recognition and HIM taking the team down there and makin' the big throws. I was so wrapped up into the game. Whoever was @ the stick definitely got a memory.
Go Niners! Part of me wants to see the Niners takeout the best QBs in the game just to show that defense is key.
(Ex. Brees, Rodgers, Brady)
But I'll definitely enjoy another game @ the Stick if NYG wins.

You can admit you're wrong now and also that it was a spectactular game to watch.
I bet George Siefert, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice didn't expect that one.
In addition, Sproles after the game said somethin' to the tune of, "I didn't know their offense could score like that."
Pretty impressive stuff considering A. Smith got 299yards passing, 3TDs, 1 rushing. Hasn't had a 300 yard passing game all year and the toughest team he faced, he almost did it.
V. Davis got 180 yards n 2 TDs.
But yea, I hope the 49ers have some good news on Goodwin and Ginn Jr., especially since Ginn fields punts n special teams which is always huge.

that was one of the most exciting games I've ever watched.
I'll be watching the giants/packers game tomorrow that should be exciting.
If the saints have the packers a close match early on this season, I have hope that we can do some work on green bay. And we've already beat new york once so lets see how that goes

It's one of the toughest things to do, beat a team twice throughout the year. NYG showed they had something saved for the Patriots in the Superbowl run they made, even though it was a gunslinger last game of the year and they previously lost.
The positive thing is that the 49ers can get points on the board. So they don't have to be afraid of a gunslinger like a Brady or Rodgers. The D showed why they're #1. Saints IMO made some big plays where Goldson n Whitner put themselves out of position. They'll look @ film n let em know what to fix.
With that mentality, I'd love to see a Harbowl again. I know that Hartbaugh felt great shaking hands with Peyton after he blitzed the niners preseason game when the niners had like a week or two of official time together.
And I know he'll enjoy seeing his brother again. But first, it'll be GB/NYG. I wouldn't count Eli n the Giants out. They've played good teams really tight and literally run away with their duo of running backs. GB doesn't have the best D either. Whereas the Giants have a strong one. It'll be a good game, maybe not as exciting or crazy as the Niner game, but I can't see one of the teams getting blown out.

That was the perfect way to begin the game and I thought that drive pretty much embodied this season for the Niners. Saints drive almost 80 yards down the field, they're in the red zone, but it doesn't matter. Our defense steps up, Patrick Willis no less, and almost knocks Pierre Thomas unconscious and causes a turnover. Story of the year for the Niners.
