I was watching NFL Primetime yesterday and they said this about the 0 rushing TD thing: "good job to the niners for waiting this long before someone ran in a touchdown against them". Good job for WAITING THIS LONG?! Ugh that made me so mad, how bout showing some respect for a team that prevented this for so long?
In that span here is the list of backs they kept out of the end zone AND under 100 yards...
Lynch
McCoy a couple times I think
Mendenhall
Beanie Wells
Brandon Jacobs
Peterson at least twice
Bush/McFadden (they got a TD but only 32 yards rushing)
Steven Jackson (got a TD but under 100 yards)
MJD
Keeping any of those guys under a 100 yards and/or out of the end zone is not easy.
All of them are 1000 yard backs.

hopefully we can improve some pass defense if New Orleans wins otherwise they will probably beat us. otherwise I think we have a chance if our offensive line can give time for Alex smith to get comfortable and throw and make good blocks for Gore/Hunter etc to run.
Just like the Baltimore game Smith never really got comfortable because our o-line didn't hold them back long enough for him to get time to throw.
I think all in all our team is solid even with a mediocre qb like Smith. Just need to have good defense basically and I think we can do some work.
And I think we should pick up Flynn for QB lol he had an amazing game for green bay

Ur talking about a dude who shot it out with the Lions and they got 6TDs.
Kolb has no o-line. Hurt all the time, never really had a chance to get anything going.

Hope Brees doesnt light up our secondary. Even if we lose, I hope we can keep it competitive and within a fg. I know a lot of haters think we're overrated and want to see us fall flat on our face in the playoffs but Id rather go out earning some respect if thats the route it goes.

Our schedule next year looks much tougher against non division opponents.
Home: Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins
Away: Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, New York Jets
