Thank God, the 49ers played the game I wanted them to play
ALL YEAR!
A dominant, don't fail 2nd half game against a SUPERBOWL contender.
They shutdown someone who should have been shutdown. This wasn't a Romo (who shoulda been in E.R.) fail. This is without WILLIS. Good Shutdown, great Monday Night Win.
This is a 49er playoff contender.

"David Akers kicked field goals of 22 and 38 yards to overtake Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for
San Francisco's single-season scoring record."
Wow, congratulations to David Akers. That may have been one of our biggest pickups in Free Agency. We definitely need to lock up him and Carlos Rogers to long term contracts.

I'm glad Harbaugh finally addressed the blitz problem. Was nice to see Alex get the ball out of his hands in under 2.5 seconds. Neutralized the Steelers' blitzing.
Aldon Smith, absolute beast. Found myself watching him exclusively in the 2nd period to see if he can get to Roth, and missed out on everything else lol

I know there's a couple pretty solid kickers coming up in the next 2 years but they're aren't many.
