I guess the bright side to all of this is that we won't be seeing Alice Smith start in the next game in 2 weeks. But every win from now means the chances of Dingleberry keeping his job is greater

so after hearing that again we had same problems getting the plays to the QB id say troy smith did play 100% better then alexa has all season
hes a natural leader that was able to come out after 3 days of practicing with the first team, half the play book to work with and get us a win!
with!!! all the problems alexa has been using as excuses... offensive line sucked, calls not getting relayed on the field, ect ect.
granted the broncos suck ***** but still... im not sure alexa has shown enough to make me believe he would have been able to do any better

I'm going to say Alexa just lost his job. Troy Smith is kicking some *** being QB. Only thing I am upset with so far is the clock mismanagement (2 time outs already?). I enjoy teams that can control the ball and at least have 2 timeouts under the 2 minute warning. When Steve Young played, there was timeouts all the time, if not he still knew how to manage the time well.
One thing that 49ers need to fix (and I believe this has to be a coaching thing) is the play calling and execution. Clean it up, pretty fugly.
