I think the fans that come out and start shiz aren't really baseball fans. They're thuggish hooligans that just want to be drunk and public, be a-holes, don't know squat about baseball. Every ball park has these kind of patrons. More so with LA from what i've read and heard.

have any of you "baseball fans" been to Yankee stadium? I went to watch them host the A's and my buddy was heckled like crazy by what seemed like everyone around us
but the worst was a Boston fan that decided to wear a Boston hat! beers and food where throw at him and when he got up for what ever reason the whole section would BOOOOO! him loudly... and they didn't stop till he was escorted out for NOT removing his hat and creating a hostel environment
it was amazing how hostle the environment was
my point? the west coast fans are NICE compared to the east coast... and NO I'm in no way condoning what happened @ dodgers stadium but unfortunatly brawls do happen over this... you never hear about it unless someone ends up hospitalized

beer, peanuts, popcorn is all good...but not on a lady, girl, or kid who is just there to enjoy a game and not provoking opposing team fans. I'll heckle the S out of you if you were a dodger fan at AT&T. I know and appreciate the rivalry just like you guys. But what makes me mad is incidents like on opening day. I believe a similar thing happened last year where a giants fan was stabbed, right?
i'm talking about the gang bangers...eh what's the point of arguing anymore. All i know is that if i ever roll into dodger stadium, i'll be in plain clothes OR with 20 other giant fans.
Even Kruk and Kuip instruct their college age sons to not wear Giant gear at las dayers stadium because odds are...you WILL get jacked.

My big bro in the fraternity is from nor cal and is a giants fan. I said lets go to a SF LA game. I tell him not to wear giants stuff. He wears an orange button up shirt and black pants. The orange shirt was pretty subtle. Nothing that really stood out. The Giants score in the first inning he starts to clap I let him know you dont do that just sit and enjoy the game. As soon as I said that the gang bangers come running down the aisle to a guy 5 rows up in full giants gear. They stare at him and go back to their seats. I said that is why you dont.
Dodgers tie up the game the gang bangers come down to talk crap to the guy and tug on his shirt. My big bro was scared/glad he didnt wear his stuff or cheer too loudly. They didnt pour beer or throw stuff at him.
to the Giants fans

"$10,000 from the Giants Team? Man, get off your wallet! You'll pay a fat, under producing Kung Pau Panda $9 million a year, but will only offer up $10,000 to help catch a pair of killers? Just goes to show how much the teams really respect their fans.."

My brother and I went to see the A's play the Yankees in the old Yankee stadium in 2006. We were decked out in full A's gear and didn't really get bothered in or around the stadium. The only heckling we had was on the way to the subway, a cop got on the PA system and informed us we were in the wrong city. That was funny. Where did you guys sit when you went to Yankee Stadium?
what I was mostly talking about is the outright HATE for the Boston redsocks which has it's long standing rivalry like the dodgers and giants do.
they seriously can NOT stand each other!
