Agreed that he should be ejected, but it wasn't his fault. It was Polanco who started the whole thing by running in from behind trying to go after Whiteside, so he naturally had to defend himself, by tackling him. And if anything, Whiteside got the short end of it because he was in the middle of all the Phillies, probably got kicked around in that pile.

He got pushed away by his coaches and then ran around his own coach and tackled someone trying to break it up...that's a punk move..

I agree whiteside lit it up but he was protecting his pitcher...didn't need to try to spear the phillie though haha

I highly doubt polanco was going after whiteside. He was going to stop victorino. They are up by 6 runs. No need for that bs. Whiteside was jumping around like a teenager waiting for the first punch to be thrown.
