Has anyone ventured out to 6R Brews

I saw some offerings at beirhouse in Mtn View and they looked interesting. Unfortunately I was driving and couldn't sample any.

I'm really curious as to how these taste. or of it's just the names/ideas that sound good.

BTW, as far as places around here with good selection.

1) Mojo's off Peralta and Fremont Blvd. It's a dive bar, but they always have a great draft lineup. They also follow major sports. So if you want a good pick of a cold one and some sports, but don't want to pay too hefty and don't mind the diveness, this is the spot for you. About $6 dollar pints.

2) The other go to spot is Mission Pizza off 680 Washington exit. It has some live music and decent pizza and of course dat draft selection. Country would be my description.

If you guys got any other local bars who carry dem drafts let me know.
Ninkasi makes some great stuff, I visited the brewery last year while in Eugene. Great little place...Yes, that's a hotdog cart on the taproom patio

North Coast does have better brews, but they don't offer brewery tours. Their restaurant across the street is nice, but nothing worth planning a trip around. We drove from Forth Bragg to Healdsburg though along Hwy 1 and 128 (stopped at Anderson Valley Brewery as well) and it was a gorgeous route. Not a route to drive like a c*ck on though.

I liked the tasting room and thought the food was really good. Pretty much the only thing going on when I was in town lol. 20 from Redwood Valley to Fort Bragg was an amazing road...

Lost Coast actually wasn't too bad, not their standard stuff, but the seasonals. The Red IPA and the Sharkinator (super hoppy variant of Great White) were good. The Raspberry and Watermellon beers were HORRIBLE, but the apricot was surprisingly not terrible. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd drink it. The food there was also really quite good. I'll be going back up for some work in a few weeks and will most likely go again. Asked the locals and they said there are a couple of other better microbrews in near by towns, so I'll have to try to locate those too

Got my growler filled with the Red IPA. Mellow initial bite, but tastes like and finishes like an IPA and 8.0+% It was pretty interesting so I brought it back.

Namesake and logo sake for their Great White.

I also found my new favorite road... 36 from my town up north to the coast EFFING EPIC. Now I know why there are always packs of motorcycles hanging out in my town and heading out that way. I had only taken it about 1/3 of the way and though and then went north and that was good, but it gets so much better after that.

Track 7's Rye IPA I found in Walnut Creek's Bevmo (this one is big, best Bevmo I've been to in terms of having different stuff). This is deeeelicious.
