So I've scrapped my IPA recipe and I'm going with something more along the lines of a hefty English IPA with an ABV of ~7%. It should be ready to drink when I get back from Scotland

I'm also going to try to do something similar to Sierra's Torpedo Extra IPA to carry on the name "Hoppy Ending" because that's just too good to let go.

I'd keep the name too

Bring me back some scotch, something in the 12-18 year range please

I bought a 14th Anniv IPA that I'm going to try tonight AND just cause we talked about it the other day, some Blackberry Witbier

There are a couple of sixers left at that particular BevMo, if peeps would like to grab some....

Ok someone else needs to post about a beer they've had, I'm starting to feel like I may have a problem

...just polished off a Stone Cali-Belgie IPA, it was bomb-diggity.

Carry on.

I was wary of it, but it says IPA on the bottle and it tasted like one, so i'm not sure what makes it special haha.... no belgian-ness to it at all

If I remember correctly (and that's a big IF since I learned this at the brewery, meaning I was a bit knackered at the time) it is basically an IPA fermented with Belgian yeast.

Speaking of which, Rock bottom is tapping a pale ale of the same variety (normal pale fermented with Belgian yeast) Thursday. I think at like 8:00 or so pints are $1.50, I'm working though :/
