Their normal brews are average, it's their ones like Arrogant Bastard (few different versions), Ruination IPA (they also have a regular IPA) and the Barleywine that are really good

is Beer Beer and More Beer the same as MoreBeer?

A nice good white ale.

I'm down with the Bastard, BevMo had an Oak Bastard that I was tempted by but was in the mood for something less Arrogant, so to speak lol...

Erik, Krissy, and I went to the brewery. I had the barleywine with lunch and got a growler of the regular IPA because they didn't have the Ruination on tap.

So uh, one rule for tomorrow; no Prohibition Ale.

Wow. Thick tasting ale, obviously hoppy. Good.

I had some Cask Conditioned Ale last night at Los Gatos Brewing...It was interesting, not really my cup 'o tea. Tasted like a Saison(?), otherwise known as French farmhouse ale, of which I'm not a fan.

That is a great reference pic. Portland is wonderful. Pretty sad I guess but for the last few years our road trips have all been centered around beer. We go to Deschutes in Bend, OR every memorial day weekend and we had our Christmas Dinner (and tried 27 brews) at Rogue in Portland last year. I want to head back to Portland this summer so I don't have to climb over snow drifts to get beer.

So I am going to make another batch of the exact same recipe I used on my first brew because 5 gallons lasted about 6 days. This next ale I am making is going to tear my face off - so it needs to be aged for at least a month. I just tried it last night when I racked it to the secondary - the color of Racer 5 and packs a similar punch, but with a more hearty feel.

You had never had that before? How many pitchers of that did we go through?
