I love bass fishing. I live right on the delta so good bass fishing is right out my back door. But I don't get near enough time to really do some fishing. Its been my dream ever since I was a little kid (I started loving bass fishing way back then) to have a Ranger bass boat, sounds pretty dumb but there is something about those rangers.
There is nothing dumb about Ranger bass boats man!! I'm glad to see other guys love bass fishing and fishing in general on this forum. Id like to get a Ranger or BassCat some day. I like fishing Chesbro a lot in Morgan Hill. I use to spend a lot of time at the San Justo Reservoir in Hollister. It was an awesome little place for Bass but they closed it due to zebra mussels. I'm so down for a fishing trip. I've been learning the in's and out's of surf fishing since I've been living in Watsonville. Ive never fly fished but would love to learn the art. Let's go fishin!

Chesbro in my opinion is the nicest and for me has been the most productive. I have had great results with rattle traps with a fast retrieve. Soft plastics as well, anything that mimics crawdads. There is also Anderson, Coyote, Uvas, and Calero. All within about 15 miles of Morgan Hill. I don't know about any ponds in the area.

Cool, I'm actually down to fish some new area man. I'd love to fish the delta again I'm open for a drive. Next time I plan a trip I'll let you know. If you plan to head out some where let me know. If I'm free I'll roll out wherever. I haven't been bass fishing in maybe about 2 years so I'd love to start getting back into it.

Have not been bass fishing all summer. I am down to go fish any of the south bay spots. Not this weekend but maybe next. I did go anchovie fishing last weekend in santa cruz. Caught enough to feed a whole party!

Yup right off the pier next to Aldo's. My friend lives right on the warf there. He was having his birthday party serving fresh elk and venison sausage and I brought my poll and a sabuki rig and caught a bucket full in about an hour. Cleaned them right there and then straight on the grill. MMMMM tastyfish.
